From Anne Lamott

Not one of us knows how long he or she will live, but maybe we want a shot of really BEING here for this life, for this precious time we’ve been allotted. Maybe we want a richer wilder sense of presence and immediacy. Maybe we want to slow way the hell down, and get less done, accomplish less meaningless bullshit, and focus on each holy moment; or at least more of them.

    Isn’t it the truth – and why is it so hard to do??! I sometimes find myself going at full speed and wonder if I’m moving “toward” something or running “from” myself? Thank the Lord for daily prayer and yoga!!! They keep me centered. I love your blog, Jane!
