Keep Your Brain From Going to Seed

None of us want to lapse into senility.

My 90-year-old father has come up ways to, hopefully, keep his brain from going to seed.  For example, he has made up words that don’t exist in the English language because he needs them to express his thoughts while studying the field of ethics.  You can see the list of words below.

Dad is a self-taught scholar.  Besides ethics, he studies Shakespeare, philosophy, religion, cosmology, and anthropology.  And, he writes poetry.  He has made studying an alstinct. 😉

The last word on his list came about as a result of icy sidewalks.

Enjoy!

Yours in aging with class,
Jane

P.S.  What do you do to keep your brain from going to seed?

    How delightfully imaginative!

That was fabulous! I’ll have to save this one, Janie. With a father like Eliot, you too will never be senile. Keep them coming. If I read your posts, maybe I won’t become senile:-) Kathy
